I am currently working with booking agents from a very famous person who has been up here twice in Alaska to preform and am having the dilemma of trying to figure out what the booking agents are talking about by wanting an “offer”. What exactly is this talking about or even better, what do I offer them as the person bringing them up to Alaska. I hope someone knows what I am talking about.

I am guessing here, but I THINK they want to know what you are willing to pay for and how much money you are going to guarantee them. So, for example you might say that you will pay plane tickets, hotel, meals and limo. for three people and guarantee that the sales of tickets will give them at least $5000. They probably will want some sort of insurance that you will really be able to produce what you say you will and not just run off with the money, or sell too few tickets, etc. It’s a big outlay of upfront cash for you, as you have to do publicity, rent the concert hall, pay the hotel and airfare, print and sell the tickets, etc. So, you may want some guarantees that they will show up and what they will pay you if they do not.
You could ask someone local who books a different kind of artist, such as classical musicians, for advice.
