How do you apply math in band management?

I have to write a paper for my math class on a career I’m interested in and how you use math in it.

Anyone know?

    Well it can be used in figuring out how much the band makes at each gig once you have that you would have to figure out how much each band member makes, the cost of gas to get to and from the gig, and how much money you would like to save for emergency purposes (i.e. broken equiptment and other things that could go wrong)
